Minimalist Christmas

Less is more
Right for those that either love the Scandinavian look and feel of Christmas, those that don’t enjoy the set up / take down / storage of Christmas, budget conscious folk, or those with pets/kids that seek and destroy Christmas décor.
Stick to minimal use of color – in our modern white space, we used punches of black, warm woods & metallics; tying in a few white punches for style cohesiveness.
All pieces can be easily moved for entertaining
Keep things simple – an ornament or 2 hanging from a door handle goes a long way
Always wanted a real tree? Don’t have the space, décor or desire to upkeep – having a smaller tree (3-4 ft) gives the look and feel but in a more accommodating size. 1 string of large ball lights and a HOMESENSE basket – done.
TIP: set your budget, keep your décor intentional and kept within certain rooms to maximize the effect of what you do use (we kept ours to the front entry, living room & dining nook), make friends with 3M strips and hooks or utilize existing nails (replacing a photo with a wreath or festive piece of art).
