Non-White Kitchens

All white kitchens-it seems to be all the rage these days. We have done it numerous times and love the way it turns out, but there are so many other options that don’t get the attention they deserve! While white is classic and something that will probably never go out of style, let’s look at something different today.

Back to Black

This massive, open kitchen with center island at 5 Jacobs Close is perfect for entertaining. When choosing black cabinetry, it is important to keep everything else light to prevent the room feeling too dark. Light counter tops, open cabinets, and large windows help to keep things feeling bright.

Light & Bright Grey

Grey just might be the new “it” color for kitchens! We love the airy feel of this one in one of our Cobalt Beach town homes. Everything is kept simple here with clean lines and bright colors.

Dark & Moody Brown

Another classic cabinetry color, brown can be seen here in the kitchens of 30 Lapierre Place and The Chuck unit at Cobalt Beach. The key is again keeping everything else light as to not overwhelm the room with darkness.

Cobalt Blue

The Waldorf unit at Cobalt Beach is classy and elegant, and rich blue compliments that style perfectly. Keeping it as an accent color prevents it from feeling like there is too much going on.
