Last but not least is an eclectic Christmas look! We've styled our 'Vanessa' townhome in Cobalt Beach this way. Can you tell we shop at Home Sense a lot?!
ECLECTIC
- Personality is the name of the game – let yours shine
- Right for those that want Christmas to be fun, easy, styled but uncomplicated.
- Happy medium between minimalistic & traditional – stylistically & budget wise
- Once again – set your color scheme. We wanted a fun and bright Christmas style that went with the funky bright colors of the furniture & rug. We went with red, white with subtle hints of light turquoise inspired by the little skate ornaments. We have some rattan furniture in the home that we thought would shine by using burlap accents to really give that eclectic, low key look.
- A skinny Christmas tree is a fantastic and cost effective addition to any small space – storage is minimal, but when it’s out the impact can be grand without overwhelming your space. This tree is from WALMART CANADA.
- The fun of eclectic Christmas is the versatility each piece of décor holds. Last year we placed the pompom garland on the wall but this year utilized it in the Christmas tree. We used Merry and Bright on the tapestry last year – this year, again incorporated it into our tree.
- Behind the sofa was a collage wall. Last year we used wrapping paper to festively fill some of our frames, replacing others with décor. This year we removed the frames and did a simple paper fan display alongside a Christmas banner, a festive wreath, & a string of lights all from HOMESENSE CANADA
- TIP: layer your décor to ensure each space is cohesive. Our tree has burlap ribbon, so our wall banner also incorporated that texture. We have yarn balls in the wreath on the wall, we then had the (yarn) pompom garland on the tree, and yarn trees on the dining table all in the same color. This style like all others is all about styling with intention.
