What's New at Jensen Lakes?
Things are coming along smoothly and quickly at Jensen Lakes. The lake is being dug out, buildings are going up fast, and a new phase was just released! Here’s a bit of a breakdown on what’s happening here lately.
Cobalt Beach
Our new collection of townhomes is well on its way to being finished, and we can’t wait to show you all how amazing they are! A maintenance-free, outdoor focused lifestyle with the ability to walk to the lake, coffee shops, grocery stores, the movies, and even a brew house! Look forward to coming home to a place where you can really relax, and enjoy all of the outdoor space Jensen Lakes has to offer. Stay tuned for updates on our Launch Party coming soon!
Landmark Cinemas & Canadian Brew House
This theatre will offer luxury movie nights at their finest. It is being built quite quickly, and they are anticipating a Summer 2018 opening! With La-Z-Boy reclining chairs, online payment options, and reserved seating, you’ll have no excuse not to take a walk down to the movies! Also anticipated to open mid 2018 is the Canadian Brew House, which will feature a roof top patio!
The Lake
The dirt is starting to be dug out to form the most exciting part of this neighborhood- the lake! Excavation of the lake and the amount of detailed planning that is needed takes a lot of time and effort, but will be well worth the wait once it is all complete. Imagine coming home, heading to the lake, and taking a canoe out for a couple hours. Or even just laying out on the beach in the sun! There will be so many opportunities for outdoor activities, all just a short walk away from your new home. Schools
Two new schools are on the road to completion in Jensen Lakes. Sister Alphonse Academy K-9 Catholic School is projected to open in January 2018, followed by Joseph M. Demko K-9 Public School in September 2018. Taking your kids to school without having to get in the car-what could be better? Maybe if they walk to school, while you sit outside on your porch enjoying a coffee! Joyal Park, which will include a sports field as well as a paved trail connecting to the rest of Jensen Lakes, is also anticipated to be completed in 2018.
The Fields
Work is beginning on getting the new phase developed. This phase, on Joyal Way and Juliet Place, will include single family homes with some lots that back onto a natural pond! There will also be lots backing on to green space at the park. We are working hard on some amazing floor plans, so keep checking back for more updates or come into our show home for more information!
